By Redesigning our products, we are improving their durability.

All of our new products are developed according to the international standard IEC 60601-1-9 ‘Environmentally Conscious Design’ which benefits both their life cycle and therefore, their impact on the environment.

In 2022, we brought a new generation of medical patient filters into the market. In order to achieve the most sustainable production, we optimized the logistics processes and focused on emission reduction. The square design (compared to the previous products which were round) reduces clippings and waste in production, optimizing packaging and design.

An optimized filter housing design requires less plastic in the product, leading effectively to a lower product weight and in the end to a lower amount of clinical waste. All achieved without compromises to the product performance.

The production facility has been moved from China to Germany, reducing transport and delivery routes. Overall, CO2 footprint is improved.

We continue to develop more environmentally friendly products by understanding the impact of plastics.
