Dräger escape hoods are intended for single-use during emergencies to guarantee maximum safety and performance, ensuring reliable protection when it matters most. However, Dräger escape hoods offer the longest service lifetime available, 16 years. Providing that the hood has not been opened or used, the filter can be exchanged after the first 8 years – extending the lifetime to 16 years.
