Lifebuoys, brackets and lights

A lifebuoy has been designed to be thrown to a person in the water to prevent a person from drowning. A lifebuoy lanyard can be attached to a lifebuoy to pull back the lifebuoy. A bracket is being used to install the lifebuoy against the railing or the wall of a vessel or oil platform.

Inherent buoyant lifebuoy for use on board of vessels or offshore installations. Made of durable synthetic material and provided with reflective striping and grab line. The lifebuoy may be fitted with a light & smoke signal.

Lifebuoy lanyard and encapsulated safety line

The lanyard can be attached to a lifebouy to pull back the lifebuoy. The lanyard is available for e.g. 20 and 30 meter. The encalsulated safety line is made of polypropylene with a breaking strain of 250 kg. This safety line fits neatly in the inner diameter of the buoy providing a good stowage facility and protection of the line.

Lifebuoy brackets

Lifebuoy brackets are made of stainless steel and are to be used to install a lifebuoy against the railing or the wall. Optional: Light and MOB storage, togethter with lifebuoy.

Lifebuoys lights and MOB light

The lifebuoy lights are designed to deliver, as minimum standard, the 2cd output specification and 2 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS. Dräger Marine & Offshore offers various types with a life of one year or five years.
