Confined Space Training
—Understanding and mastering the risks involved makes working in confined spaces, tanks and containers a safe job. Seamless risk assessment is essential here. Training is the best way to avoid accidents and even death.
According to confined space statistics by NIOSH 92% of fatalities occur in confined spaces due to inadequate confined space and rescue training. Which safety aspects are key for working in confined spaces? What typical errors are made? Which situations are critical? Find out – directly from professional experts and register for one of our customised confined space training sessions.
Whatever the space you and your employees are working in, we have the matching safety training for you.
Why confined space training matters
—Click here to see our four-part video series about rescue training in confined spaces:

Assessment of working conditions
Special in-depth risk assessment of working conditions in confined spaces is the key before any confined space entry. The analysis of the individual hazards and stress factors is the basis of risk assessment. Our experts will tell you why.
Dräger Academy: Confined space entry training
—Whether it's business as usual or a rescue mission – in our training courses you will learn how to getting in and out of confined spaces safely.

CSE training on location
The mobile CSE training facility can be quickly set up and made ready for use as Dräger has an open training course or on your premises for highly-specialised training support.
Focus topics of CSE Training

Confined Space Leg Entry
Get ready for confined space entry operations in the legs of offshore platforms. During this course, you will gain knowledge on safely conducting relevant leg entry work, learn safety precautions and understand rescue and escape measures that apply in emergencies.

Pre-Entry Gas Testing
This course teaches you to sufficiently carry out gas tests prior to entry and during work in a confined space. You will gain an understanding of various gases and their properties and will learn how to perform workplace atmosphere tests using Dräger’s portable gas detection devices.

Confined Space Entry Training
Understand the legal requirements for entering and working in a confined space and learn how to identify hazards and implement safe working procedures. This course will teach you how to use and respond to atmosphere monitoring equipment, including preparation and use of escape breathing apparatus. An entry and emergency exit practical scenario is also staged.
