What is oral fluid testing?

Oral fluid testing has become the preferred method of drug screening by UK law enforcement agencies. This non-invasive and hygienic screening analyses a saliva sample for parent drugs and their metabolites, testing for impairment in a specific moment rather than over time. Onsite testing can provide immediate results and negative donors can immediately return to work. Non-negative results require laboratory testing to determine the substance and concentration level.
