Dräger FireGround – Stay connected, stay safe - Fire department mission house communication
Entry control point for single family home
  • This scenario requires one entry control point with clear visibility of the building's entrance. Given the scale, one HUB and one monitoring person are sufficient.
  • Requirements: One FireGround HUB positioned at the entrance, and one monitoring person using the FireGround App.
  • Station size - Single Engine Station.

Dräger FireGround – Stay connected, stay safe - Fire department double mission strategy
Entry control point for multi-family home
  • In situations where a fire spreads unexpectedly, multiple entry points are necessary for effective operations. The person monitoring each entry control point should be able to see who enters the structure and be in direct line of sight for communication. If the second entrance is out of view from the primary entry control point, a secondary control point is established.
  • Requirements: Two FireGround HUBs, with two monitoring personnel using the FireGround App. When multiple entry points are used, FireGround Web enables comprehensive monitoring of all points simultaneously.
  • Station size - Multiple Engine Station.
Dräger FireGround – Stay connected, stay safe - Fire department high rise fire control
Entry control point for high-rise buildings
  • Firefighters typically establish a staging area two floors below the fire's location in high-rise buildings. This common approach supports the setup of an entry control point, allowing SCBA-equipped personnel to advance strategically toward the fire.
  • Requirements: One FireGround HUB and one monitoring person using the FireGround App.
  • Station size - Multiple Engine Station.

Dräger FireGround – Stay connected, stay safe - Incident command in case of fire
Entry points for underground structures
  • Entry control points should be set up in a secure area within the structure. To maintain connectivity, repeaters may be necessary. If used, place repeaters near fire doors or at bends, such as in tunnels, to ensure optimal signal strength.
  • Requirements: One FireGround HUB, one monitoring person using the FireGround App, and one or two repeaters as needed for underground areas.
  • Station size - Multiple Engine Station.
