Flame 1750 (H2 flames)

Hydrogen (H2) is important in power-to-gas (PTG) processes and as an energy carrier. In such applications, it is crucial to safeguard plant areas from potential hydrogen flames. A reliable detector designed specifically for hydrogen flames is essential to meet this requirement.

Dräger introduced a new detector that utilises three distinct infrared (IR) ranges to detect hydrogen flames effectively. This innovative solution ensures reliable detection results while minimizing false alarms. By precisely targeting the specific IR ranges associated with H2 flames, this detector provides enhanced accuracy and sensitivity, allowing for prompt response and mitigation of potential fire hazards.

Dräger SensorAlive H2S

Gas detection systems are routinely verified for availability, function and performance. The SensorAlive device includes a DrägerSensor H2S, gas generator and electronics to perform this task autonomously. These tests include:
- Sensitivity monitoring
- Sensor Fault detection
- Clogging Detection

The data generated over the life of the sensor also aids the lifetime prediction for the sensor.

OPC UA Server

The REGARD 7000 OPC UA Server is used to output system data via an OPC UA interface to higher-level systems, such as a DCS or SCADA system.

It is designed for the provision of data for visualization and documentation of system behavior.

Channels can be acknowledged or set to the Inhibit status via the OPC UA Server.

In a REGARD 7000 system, only one REGARD 7000 OPC UA Server may be used.

Hydrogen flame detection

Due to climate change, H2 will play an increasingly important role in our industrial environment. To protect the environment from H2 flames, a reliable detector for hydrogen fires is required. Dräger has specifically developed a new detector that operates in the IR range, which provides reliable detection results and has a lower false alarm rate.

NH3 detection in a chicken coop with LORA network

To maintain NH3 concentration on a certain max. level in a chicken coop, the Dräger X-node is a new  detection system to survaillance the ammonia concentration. It can be equiped with varius different sensor technologies, so it not limited to this application. It simultaneously measures ambient temperature, humidity and pressure. The measured values can be transferred to a database in real time via a LoRa network and to your smartphone via Bluetooth®.
