Dräger Gas Communication Cockpit 1000
The System
The Dräger Gas Communication Cockpit is the perfect complement to the Dräger Alarm Management System. The Cockpit allows viewing and managing of alarms and measured values from the Dräger Gas Management System and optionally the Dräger Gas Detection System. Forwarding of these alarms and measurements to external systems, such as a building management system, intranet and the Internet is possible as well as sending SMSs and e-mail. As a cross-system, secondary display unit the Dräger GCC 1000 does not have to comply with the Medical Devices Act (MPG).
Display
The alarms and measured values from the Dräger Gas Management System and the gas concentrations of ambient air are clearly displayed as bar graphs or tables. All relevant data are collected and displayed in detail online.
Medical gases
- type of gas
- alarms and operation signals
- measured values, e.g. pressure or consumption
- medical air quality (requires Dräger Medical Air Guard)
Ambient air (optional)
- type of gas
- measuring range
- gas concentration
- alarms
- faults
Alarm log and event display
Alarms and events can be easily retrieved. Detailed information such as time, channel and type of alarm or event are provided. Thus the detection of failures in the medical gas supply or irregularities of the ambient air quality can be performed at any time. For service technicians, it is possible to draw conclusions about the state of the system by using the history function.
Data logger (optional)
By means of a data logger, measured values and events can be stored for at least 31 days for documentation. There is a user-friendly output of data via CompactFlash® card, Web browser access or USB port. This data can be easily edited, for example with Microsoft® Excel. Irregularities, such as leaks or excessive gas concentrations in the ambient air, can be detected quickly.
Web interface
The available Web server can be integrated in the local network and allows comfortable browser access via a Web interface. Furthermore the Web interface provides the possibility of access to all functions of the Dräger Gas Communication Cockpit via Ethernet or Internet.
Network interface
Further interfaces can be integrated in higher-level control systems and company networks which utilise Modbus or BacNet (optional), for example. Communication with additional touch panels and connection to external systems is therefore possible on demand.
GSM Module (optional)
Alarms and information about irregular-ities can be sent via e-mail and SMS with the optional GSM module. This could be the responsible Dräger Service technician or the technical service from the hospital. Thus, it is possible to carry out repairs quickly and efficiently.
